Fertiliser Industry Assurance Scheme – FIAS

This scheme was set up in 2006 to assure fertiliser security and traceability in the industry supply chain.

Many Hauliers chose to register with the scheme to show there compliance to industry best practice.  Corridans helps these achieve compliance with the schemes policies and practices.

To this end Corridans are able to advise on:

• The current policies and practices of the FIAS standard.
• Preparation of relevant documentation to implement the policies and practices.
• Advise on any training requirements necessary.
• Prepare the company for the FIAS annual external audit and completion of any actions raised.

It is not essential but it is recommended that this service be coupled with the DGSA service also offered by Corridans, making the documentation within the company more streamlined.
